Dorit S Christensen

Biography:

Born in Denmark, Dorit Christensen has lived in Sweden for 30 years. Writing from existential perspectives on meaningful work, she draws inspiration from Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Pierre Guillet de Monthoux. At Stanford, a professor who made films and wrote poetry inspired her to believe it’s never too late to create. Influenced by Barbara Czarniawska’s narrative methods, she began writing novels, one of which evolved into the script for her first feature, Let Me Be (2024).
